Billing

What you pay, and when: EUR 0.005 per successful enrichment excluding taxes, what is never billed, and how to read a call's usage without counting it twice.

View as Markdown

EUR 0.005 per successful enrichment, excluding applicable taxes. No monthly minimum, no subscription fee, no included bundle: you pay for what resolved, and for nothing else. Sandbox is free and never bills anything.

What is billable

An enrichment is billable when it resolved.

ResultBillable
resolvedyes, 1 unit
refresh_recalculatedyes, 1 unit
partialno
not_foundno
A replay of a call already settled (same Idempotency-Key, or same external_transaction_id)no

A GET readno, never

Reading a call's usage

Every successful POST response carries a usage object stating what the call cost:

"usage": { "billable": true, "units": 1, "deduplicated": false, "deduplicated_by": null }
JSON
FieldMeaning
billableThe call is billed. Always false in Sandbox.
unitsThe units the call carries: 1 for resolved and refresh_recalculated, 0 otherwise.
deduplicatedtrue when the response comes from economic deduplication (same external_transaction_id, same input).
deduplicated_byexternal_transaction_id when deduplicated is true, null otherwise.

A replay by external_transaction_id is visible in the body: deduplicated: true, billable: false, units: 0.

Warning

A replay by Idempotency-Key returns the memorised body of the first response, usage included. If the first response was billed, the replay still shows billable: true, although nothing new was billed. You recognise this case by the Noryo-Idempotency-Replayed: true header: if you keep your own consumption count, ignore usage on those responses.

A GET read carries no usage object but two separate ones: retrieval (what this read costs, always billable: false and units: 0) and original (what the enrichment cost when it happened). See Read an enrichment.

Getting to Production

Production is not self-service. You file an application, a person at Noryo reviews it, and the decision is theirs. Before that review you must have registered a payment method: Noryo does not open a Production it could not collect on.

Once approved, usage is metered as you call, each calendar month is closed automatically, and the invoice is collected from your registered payment method. Platform does not create Production keys: it only issues Sandbox keys. See Going live.

A small invoice may show as settled without a debit

Very small amounts are not charged immediately: our payment provider carries them and collects them with the first invoice that clears its own minimum. So an invoice can appear settled in a month where nothing left your account. The total eventually collected is exactly the sum of what you consumed, never more.

Following your consumption

The Usage page of Platform shows, for the last thirty days, the number of settled calls and the units per day, broken down by status. See Observability.
