# Reading the resolution

> What the response asserts about a transaction: its counterparty, its type, and what the numbers that come with them are worth.

The `resolution` block of an enrichment states what Noryo understood about a transaction. [Counterparties and entities](https://developer.noryo.app/en-GB/transaction-intelligence/counterparties-and-entities) describes how the counterparty is named, what the entity graph keeps apart (brand, legal entity, intermediary) and why an absence is a result. [Transaction types](https://developer.noryo.app/en-GB/transaction-intelligence/transaction-types) explains what `resolution.transaction_type` asserts, how it is established, and how it differs from the payment rail and the category.

Finish with [Score semantics](https://developer.noryo.app/en-GB/transaction-intelligence/score-semantics): no number the API returns is a probability. The page says what each score class measures, what it can be compared with, and why to decide on `policy.outcome` rather than on a threshold. It also applies to the numbers in [relationships and series](https://developer.noryo.app/en-GB/transaction-intelligence/relationships-and-series).
