# API reference — Merchant API

Enrich a bank transaction descriptor into a merchant identity.

Three endpoints, no batch. Versioning belongs to the **family** — `/merchant/v1` —
so that `merchant/v2` can live beside `merchant/v1` rather than replace it.

**The host is not part of the contract.** Noryo may serve this API from more than one
domain. No hostname enters any identity, hash or signature; do not hardcode one beyond
your base URL configuration.

## Authentication

- `bearerCredential` — http bearer. `Authorization: Bearer nry_mer_sbx_<key_id>.<secret>` The prefix carries the environment: `nry_mer_sbx_` for Sandbox, `nry_mer_live_` for Production. The secret is shown **once**, at creation, and is never recoverable. There is no rotation operation: to replace a key, create a new one, deploy it, then revoke the old one.
